Being the Younger Brother in Luke 15 – Move United

A sequel to last week’s post.

Of all the parables of Jesus, the one with the most impact on my life is commonly known as “The Prodigal Son” (Luke 15:1-2, 11-32). Despite this traditional title, it has three important characters: the father, the older brother, and the (prodigal) younger brother. I identify with the younger brother, who is given lavish and underserved forgiveness, compassion, and love after returning to his father from a life of wasting his inheritance
